From Tacheria Interfaith School of Spiritual Direction Alumni to Director of Wisdom's Way Interfaith School
Wisdom’s Way Interfaith School began as a dream sparked during my time at Tacheria in 2011. With the Board’s support, the school opened in 2014 and welcomed seekers into a two‑year journey of holy listening, spiritual companioning, and exploration of global wisdom traditions. Over eight years, more than 80 participants completed the program, creating a vibrant spiritual community that continued until our retirement in 2022.

My Tacheria Experience
My Tacheria experience has been one of deep community, genuine friendship, and a kind of trust that feels rare in the world. In this circle, we don’t just create a safe space — we create a brave one. A place where each of us can show up as our authentic selves, explore our beliefs, challenge them, and gently expand into something fuller. Tacheria has become a community that holds me, stretches me, and invites me to grow in ways I didn’t expect.

What Is Spiritual Direction? A Gentle Guide to Spiritual Companionship
Spiritual direction — sometimes called spiritual companionship — is a gentle, sacred practice of slowing down and listening deeply to your life. In a world that moves quickly, spiritual direction offers a quiet space to explore your inner wisdom, your questions, and the ways the Divine or the Sacred is moving within you. It is not therapy, advice‑giving, or problem‑solving. Instead, it is a relationship of presence, curiosity, and compassion.

Staying Connected in the Tacheria Community
Tacheria has a way of turning strangers into companions. What began as a room full of people simply starting a program slowly became a circle of deep connection, shared stories, and spiritual kinship. Through monthly gatherings, summer check‑ins, and the simple act of showing up for one another, the Tacheria community continues to grow in friendship, presence, and sacred belonging—long after graduation.
