Treasurer
Chuck Kirchner
Chuck is a 2021 graduate of Tacheria, has held a life-long yearning for the spiritual in our lives, especially our creative lives.
An accomplished photographer and photo educator, Chuck has led workshops on photo creativity and it's spiritual components at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico and the Grunewald Guild in eastern Washington state.
While an interesting career in environemntal and transportation planning provided a steady source of income over the years, the passion for traveling the world to see first-hand the realm of cultures, rituals and spirit ceased; nor the desire to create photographs of the journeys.
He grew up in a traditional Roman Catholic family and over the years, transitioned to the Episcopal tradition, currently a member of St. Phillips in the Hills in Tucson. He has had, and continues to have, a fascination with religions and rituals world-wide, and finds kernels of truth in all of them. After living in the Puget Sound area most of his life, he and his wife and daughter relocated to the Sonoran desert over three years ago and finds the Spirit alive and well in the open spaces of the desert as he did in the open spaces of the ocean.

The Rev. Philip Shaw
Rev. Philip Shaw served at St. Luke's Episcopal Interim Rector from February of 2022 - 2023 has returned serving St. Luke's Episcopal, Prescott, as Assisting Priest.

Board Member
Mary Quihuis
Mary spent her career as an accountant and project manager at the Community Development Department at the City of Glendale, Arizona. But her life work really seemed to be centered around advocacy for others. A large part of her life was spent caring for and advocating for her son who was born with severe cerebral palsy and required total care.
Mary found that exposing her son to as many programs as possible would be instrumental to his well-being. Eventually her son excelled at a specialized art program through Arts for All. Mary was a frequent volunteer and advocate for the Arts for All program. She is also currently a volunteer for ALS Arizona and a former Hospice volunteer. In addition, Mary is a former prayer chaplain at both Unity of Phoenix and Unity of Tucson.
Mary was introduced to the idea of attending Tacheria Interfaith School of Spiritual Direction through Frank Williams, and in 2020 Mary became a graduate of Tacheria. The process of learning Holy Listening and Spiritual Companionship was so meaningful to Mary that in 2023 she became a member of the Board of Tacheria as well.
Mary is a constant supporter and volunteer for the many classes and programs offered through Tacheria. Mary’s advocacy and spiritual companionship skills continue to shine as she serves on the Tacheria Board.
