Meet our Teacher
As a United Methodist minister, I served churches in California and in Arizona where I was founding pastor of the Church of St. Francis in the Foothills, United Methodist, including 5 years as Director of the Tucson Ecumenical Council; followed by 20 years on the Family Studies faculty at the University of Arizona; 10 years with the Tucson Family Counseling Agency (now Our Family Services) as Program and Executive Director; and from 2008 - 2018, Social Services Director at Casa de la Luz Hospice.
Committed to Ecumenicity and Interfaith service, my wife, Linda and I became Co-Directors of Tacheria after the retirement from the position of founder Jeanette Renouf.
I have been a member of the Tacheria Board of Directors since its inception. With the death of Linda in 2024, I remain committed and in service to the interfaith mission and support of spiritual direction/ companionship and in this Winter of my life focus on Loss, Grief and Transition and “Eldering.”
Tacheria Topics
Life Transistions
Grief and Loss
