Every two years, a new circle begins to form at Tacheria — a circle of seekers, listeners, companions, and wisdom‑bearers who feel called to walk alongside others on the spiritual journey. If you’ve been sensing a nudge toward deeper presence, compassionate listening, or a more grounded way of serving your community, this may be your moment.
We are now accepting applications for the 2026–2028 Interfaith Spiritual Direction Training Program, a two‑year formation experience rooted in contemplative practice, community, and the sacred art of deep listening. This program is ideal for anyone exploring how to become a spiritual director, seeking spiritual director certification, or wanting to deepen their own spiritual life.
What Is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is an ancient practice of accompanying another person as they explore the movement of the Sacred in their life. A spiritual director does not teach, fix, or advise. Instead, they offer presence, curiosity, and a listening heart — creating a safe, spacious place where someone can reflect, discern, and grow.
People seek spiritual direction during times of transition, grief, awakening, or simply a desire to live with more intention and awareness. Directors serve in faith communities, nonprofits, healing professions, and everyday life. If you feel drawn to this kind of presence, you may already be hearing the call.
What Makes Tacheria Unique?
Tacheria’s program is:
Interfaith and inclusive — welcoming people from all traditions and none
Contemplative — grounded in silence, reflection, and embodied wisdom
Community‑based — learning happens in circle, not hierarchy
Experiential — integrating practice, reflection, and real‑life application
Rooted in the Southwest — honoring the land, cultures, and spiritual diversity of our region
This approach makes Tacheria a meaningful option for those seeking interfaith spiritual direction training or a spiritual formation program in Tucson, Arizona.
